Bose Professional DesignMax DM8C-SUB In-Ceiling Subwoofer (Black)

The Bose 829380-0110 is an in-ceiling subwoofer from the DesignMax family, created for installers who need solid, accurate bass in commercial sound systems without drawing attention to the hardware. It hides neatly above the ceiling yet adds authority to music and announcements in retail stores, restaurants, hotels, conference rooms, and worship spaces.

An 8-inch woofer working with 180 watts of power handling generates tight, controlled low frequencies from 38 Hz to 155 Hz. This range fills out the bottom end of background or foreground music, so listeners feel a fuller, more engaging sound even at moderate volume levels.

Installation is designed to be straightforward. Bose QuickHold arms let you lift the speaker, click it into place, and move on to the next task without wrestling with screws or brackets. A plenum-rated steel backcan and included tile bridge meet safety codes and support secure mounting in drop ceilings.

The paintable, minimum-bezel grille sits almost flush with the ceiling for a clean look that blends with modern interiors. When system requirements change, an integrated 70 V/100 V transformer with selectable taps and an 8-ohm bypass make it easy to match existing amplifiers or expand a distributed audio network.

Choose the DM8C-SUB when you want low-frequency impact that complements ceiling loudspeakers while keeping the visible footprint to a minimum. It suits installers who value reliable hardware, architects who care about aesthetics, and venue owners who need consistent performance day after day.
